I've tried a few of these shapers and this is the first one that actually gives my hips and butt room instead of flattening everything. The two rows of hooks let me loosen it a notch when I'm sitting for long stretches, and the powernet really does snatch the waist.

I wore this under a fitted dress for a wedding and the powernet compression really does snatch the waist without digging in. The butt-lifting seams are a nice bonus, though the two rows of hooks take a minute to get used to.

The extra room through the hips actually fits my shape instead of squeezing everything flat, which is rare. Two rows of hooks let me loosen it a bit after a few hours, and the powernet really does pull my waist in.
